About The Event
Tricia and Michael invite you to come and join them in circle with up to 16 people in our yurt at Sankta Amo. In our regular Being Held Gatherings we practice what we call the "Safety Pillars" in order to keep ourselves and others safe-enough to receive touch and allow a neurological experience of all parts of us being worthy and loveable. And we do this with each other through various ways of interacting and co-creating safe-enough experiences.
Being Held Raw gatherings, which we do on a periodic basis using the same principles, give those who want to do so a chance to get their amazing sensory cells more deeply involved in the messaging of love to their neurology.
They are clothing optional, with the emphasis on optional, because we are only encouraging people to involve as much bare skin as they feel comfortable with in the moment. For simplicity and safety we ask those who participate to avoid sexual anatomy touching (we discuss this with those present).
We find the shedding of clothes encourages two dynamics. One, more skin is involved in the touching, which involves more sensory cells, which increases the "volume" of the loving messages informing our neurology. And two, shedding clothes provides us with the opportunity to experience deeper “body” worthiness.
Our intention is to have you return home with an expanded embodied sense of well-being.
